I am Briana Gamble, your Food & Nutrition Coach. I believe that as we pursue our health journeys, we do not have to lose our love for food.
I've had digestive issues from childhood but it wasn't until four years ago that I began to uncover the root causes and start healing. Years of eating foods I didn't know were making me sick, parasites while living abroad, antibiotics and stress all contributed to chronic fatigue, leaky gut, food sensitivities, and discouragement wondering if I'd ever enjoy food again. I am passionate about coming alongside others as they pursue their health goals and helping individuals nurture a positive relationship with food.
As a social worker, I have had nearly 10 years of experience working with individuals and groups. I've worked in community agriculture, youth mentoring, children's programs, and currently work with the homeless to help resolve housing instability. The skills I've cultivated in mentoring, counseling, and teaching easily transfer to my passions for health and nutrition. I love making food, creating recipes, and sharing food with friends. Since beginning my own health journey, I have been able to help people in my circle of influence to try new recipes, navigate food allergies, and learn about foods that heal. I am enthusiastic to widen my circle of influence and help others do the same. From meal plans to grocery lists to food allergy guides, I will provide practical resources and support you in your health goals.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.
Knowledge of various dietary plans including Paleo, Autoimmune Paleo, Whole 30, Vegetarian, and Vegan.
Experience with cooking for food allergies including gluten, dairy, eggs, corn, soy, and nuts.
Personal experience with elimination diets to help identify food sensitivities.
